Newsletter Design for Awakenings Health Institute

Project Description

Awakenings Health Institute (AHI) is a facility that helps rehabilitate patients of spinal cord injuries and traumatic brain injuries both mentally and physically after they have been released from short-term programs. Since 2003, founder Laura Karch has had a goal to cater to patients and fill the void where the rehabilitation process left off.

As part of the growing marketing plan by MITO Studios, a custom designed newsletter was produced quarterly. The newsletter was part of the cohesive masterpiece marketing plan by incorporating the color rich palette of red and yellow, thin sans-serif typefaces, and custom photography of athletes. Each newsletter featured different articles like “How you can help”, “The Trainer’s Corner”, and “Nutrition Corner.” Awakening also had a section that highlighted the supporters and donors to say Thank you.

For the finishing touch a custom designed graphic was placed on the mailing side to draw attention to the Return address of Awakenings Health Institute for a fun branding statement.
