Design & Print Wall Sign for School’s STEAM Lab

Project Description

Local Elementary School Ellen Browning Scripps had built a new STEAM Lab for their students and were looking to highlight the space with a new wall sign. We created a custom sized sign to fit a large open wall space which is viewable from the entryway as you enter. Using a stock photo/graphic with lots of bright colors that matched the furniture, we also gave the school mascot penguins some “nerdy touches” with pocket protectors and glasses. Also found a “Steel Rivet” font to highlight the name.  We printed the sign on 3/16″ acrylic which has a finished, professional look. After printing, we installed the sign and it looks great!

Mockups?

One of the cool parts of this project is that we fully mocked up the sign in the space using Photoshop to offer a realistic preview of what the space would look like.
