Project Description

Stark County Sports Complex is a premier indoor baseball & softball training facility, dedicated to meeting the needs of players of all ages and abilities. The state-of-the-art training facility has over 43,000 square feet, which includes a wide range of features and amazing specs.

As part of the entire branding and marketing services we provided, we designed a WordPress website for them to highlight their facility and communicate their brand.

Feature: Events Calendar

The website features an events calendar for them to post and display all of their events, classes and clinics. The events calendar itself is full of features for both SCSC to manage the calendar, and for their users to use and interact with the calendar.

Feature: Liability Release Sign-up System

Everyone using the facility must check in and sign the liability release. But the facility didn’t want to manage the hundreds of visitors every week so we helped design an overall system to make it easy for customers to check in, and for the SCSC staff to manage them. We designed a special page that is loaded onto a series of iPads at the Check-in kiosk at the front door. When a customer checks-in, they must sign the liability waiver at one of the kiosks. Once done, the SCSC staff is emailed a copy, as well as a copy back to the customer for their records. All entries are also stored in the website database for archival purposes. Finally, we integrated the form with their email marketing system so every customer has the opportunity to sign-up for their email newsletters.
