Business Card Design for MITO Studios

Project Description

Hey look it’s us! With the big rebrand, we of course needed our own collateral redone starting with the number one marketing piece, the business card.  Along with a slick looking, cohesive design, we stepped it up a notch by using some new print technologies to highlight our own product/print offerings.

We started with the color palette of Teal, Black and White pulled from our custom designed logo and designed a half vertical, half horizontal business card.  The front contained typical branding and contact information while the back contained a zoomed/cropped horizontal logo surrounded by a stepped and repeated block of all of our services in different sizes and typefaces.  This dual orientation design is sometimes not recommended, but it worked here due to the layout and type of information being communicated.

New Print Offerings – Metallic Print

The Teal Logo on both front and back along with Social Media Logos were designed & printed with a shiny “metallic ink” that really pops.  It’s a new print offering that we have available on Postcards, Business cards and related graphic print products.

The backside “service offerings” portion was printed with a very light 5% ink coverage, but covered in a Spot UV to give it a slick look.  When turned to the side, both the Spot UV and Metallic Ink really shine.
